You will need a jar with a lid, dish soap, water, vinegar, and measuring spoons. You can also use food coloring and glitter for a cool and unique twist!
- First, grab your jar and fill it with cold water. Please be sure to leave 1-2 inches from the top of the jar.
- Optional: carefully add 1-2 drops of your food coloring and/or glitter if you would like to add some style.
- With the help of a family member, measure 1 tablespoon of dish soap and 1 teaspoon of white vinegar. Gently add these two ingredients to your jar of water.
- Now for the fun part! Firmly grip the jar and swirl it around and around. What happens when you stop swirling the jar and set it aside? If you added glitter, watch the sparkles spin and whirl around the water. Show your friends and family how you are now quite the meteorologist!
