IF I HAD A (HOBBY) HORSE VIRTUAL STORY TIME AND CRAFT!
Please enjoy the read aloud If I Had a Horse by Gianna Marino.  You can find the link to the read aloud HERE.  Make your story time even more fun by including The Horses Are Walking song and movement activity.  If you don't know the tune, you can find the link HERE.

Then, color your own mini hobby horse!  To make a simple hobby horse you will need:
  • Horse head printed or drawn onto card stock or heavy paper (click here for free horse printable)
  • A cardboard tube
  • Paper strips or yarn (with cuts for the horses mane)
  • Eyes, stickers, pom poms, crayons etc to decorate

Cut out a horse head shape. Decorate both sides with crayons, paint, stickers, yarn for a mane, etc.  Once dry simply cut 2 slits into your cardboard tube at one end and slot your horses head on.

Enjoy!
