MUSICAL MAY STORY TIME AT HOME
MUSICAL MAY STORY TIME AT HOME WITH KATIE CASTELLUCCIO: Please join preschool teacher and musician Ms. Katie for a fun early literacy music and movement story time for children ages 0-5 accompanied by a parent/caregiver. Learn about your child’s development while you play, move, explore instruments, sing, read, and have fun together!
MAY 15: Grab and instrument and your dancing shoes! Then, sing along to "Down By The Bay!" in our very first Musical May video! You can find Ms. Katie's video below and on our Facebook page @EarlyChildhoodPartnersCFCE!
MAY 22: Did you know that some books are musical? Yes, its true! Some books have rhythm and rhyme! Some books are even based on a song, so you can't help but sing along! There are many benefits of reading rhyming books with kids - practicing patterns and improving memorization skills, recognizing rhythms, increasing phonological awareness and phonetic ability are just a few! Please enjoy "Shoo Fly" by Iza Trapani (Charlesbridge Publishing, 2007) with Ms. Katie! Can you find a rhyming book as your house!?! You can find Ms. Katie's video below and on our Facebook page @EarlyChildhoodPartnersCFCE!
MAY 29: Hello friends! For our last Musical May Story Time, Ms. Katie invites you to sing and dance along to "Baby Beluga"! You can find Ms. Katie's video below and on our Facebook page @EarlyChildhoodPartnersCFCE! Then, enjoy the silly story called "Whale In The Bath" by Kylie Westaway and Tom Jellett . You can find a link to the read aloud here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxrDYGmuTP8. Enjoy!
