WELCOME TO "FIRST FRIENDS (AFTER) STORY TIME"!
Please note: There will be no program on Monday, January 18th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day.

Learning about Dr. King’s life provides us with a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the principles he stood for:
- a desire for all people to be treated fairly regardless of the color of their skin
- to solve problems with words, peace, and love
- to be fair, kind, and inclusive
- to appreciate similarities and differences among people
We encourage you to talk with your children about MLKs impact and legacy as a Peace Hero,
and discuss what we can do in our communities to make this world a better place.

"Doves for Peace: Community Art Installation" At The Wenham Museum
Local artist Julianna McWilliams has made a tree for the museum’s lobby on which we will place doves made by members of our community. Simply use the instructions below to make origami or cut-out doves
(or use your own design) at home and drop them off at the museum –
all it takes is a piece of paper and a little time!
You can add color or a message of peace, hope, gratitude, or kindness to your dove – and make as many as you would like! You may bring your dove to the museum at any time or place it in the museum mailbox.

Please Note: While there is no cost to participate in this activity, The Wenham Museum requires advanced ticket registration and admission to visit the museum galleries.
